Intro
Your privacy, in plain English.
I'm Liberty Type, LLC, and this page explains what information I collect when you visit this site or work with me, what I do with it, and what your options are. No legalese maze. Just the facts, the way I'd want them explained to me.
What I Collect
Information you give me directly: your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and anything else you choose to share (like everything you pour into my inquiry form's rambling box, which I treasure).
Information collected automatically when you visit: your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and general usage data. Standard website stuff.
How I Use It
To provide and maintain my services. To answer your questions and emails. To send you marketing emails you signed up for (like Off the Record). To make this website and my services better. To detect and prevent fraud. And to comply with the law when required.
Who I Share It With
Service providers who help me run this business (email platforms, payment processors, that kind of thing). Law enforcement or government authorities if they make a legal request. And, if Liberty Type were ever merged, acquired, or sold, the relevant third parties in that transaction. I don't sell your information. Full stop.
Your Choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@libertytype.com and I'll take care of it. And every marketing email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom; no hard feelings if you use it.
Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how people use it. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings whenever you like.
Security
I take reasonable measures to protect your information. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security. (Nobody honestly can, and you should side-eye anyone who says otherwise.)
Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always live on this page with the effective date noted at the top.
